If you could make your pet understand one thing, what would it be?

If I could teach my pet one thing, I would teach it the power of self belief. It should not matter that we live in a landlord white cube. It should not matter that our rental contract, for reasons that I don’t fully understand, explicitly states that we should not have pets twice. My pet unfortunately has a single, fatal failing: it does not exist, and cannot exist. At least for the time being.

As such I would like to teach my pet to believe in itself, such that it would spontaneously appear and rid us of these contractual obligations and economic constraints that have us in this existentially disadvantageous position.
